haha yesssss... that ending was hilarious. The whole thing was too of course.
But anyway, I read your other post and it's hard not to agree entirely.
Kids are dumb and you hate being associated with em sometimes. Hell, I'm in my third year of college and that doesn't change - kids are still kids, even if they're technically adults living by themselves.
I've been driving since I got my permit at 16 and now at 20 I'm pretty confident in my driving abilities and have always considered myself a good, safe driver. Like you said, you, me, we're not so different. Hate to say it, but it's hard not to look down upon the kid I know who wrecked his M5 (which he afforded lord knows how) knowing that he probably wrecked it because he was dumb.
And now I'm the one who crashed his own car into a tree (last week) - first crash (or anything remotely close) ever and I'm the safe, responsible one - the adult whose teen years were anything but dangerous. I felt like shit about it - and I still do. Just me, back roads, having fun before coming back home and just like that I'm down a car -
my
car. Though I still can't put all the blame on me (I put a lot on the road condition), it was ultimately my fault. Seeing that I could somewhat relate to you, I just thought it was worth a share. Some things just don't go your way and that's life. We know we put ourselves at danger but at the same time we limit this danger - even try to control it if possible - and that's just about all you can do. Live and learn. C'est la vie as they say.
Stay safe, stay smart.

Don't beat yourself up too bad about it, like you said, sometimes it just doesn't go your way. Thanks for the share!
